Lift rear of the vehicle until rear shock absorbers are fully extendedInstall jack stands under frame to support vehicleRemove rear wheelsRemove lower shock absorber boltsRemove rear brake caliper and detach brake hose from bracket on rear axleV04H04A V04h04a2.EPS
Unscrew bolts no6 and no9 retaining rear axle assembly to swing armSee the following illustrations
Detach rear axle assembly from swing arm
Installation is essentially the reverse of removal procedurePaying attention to the following detailsApply grease on the end of propeller shaftInstall all bolts before torquingOn the LH side, torque the hexagonal bolts no9 in crisscross sequenceSee the following illustration
