Always place the transmission on NEUTRAL position and select FIRST gear
Check AMP connectors on MPEMRefer to OVERVIEWPlace vehicle on level surfaceInstall vehicle on jack stands to raise all four tires off the groundUnplug clutching and clutch modulator valve connectorPlug tester (PN JDG 529 035 653)
Install new MPEMRefer to INSTRUMENTS AND ACCESSORIESIf no indicator light blinks when button is pushed: Check fuseCheck wiring condition
