Voltage Test: Proceed as follows: Start engine Connect multimeter to battery postsSet multimeter to Vdc scaleIf the battery is regularly discharged, check charging system fuse (30 amp) condition Bring engine to approximately 5500 RPMIf multimeter reads over 15 volts, voltage regulator rectifier is defectiveReplace itV00G01D

If there is no charging at the battery with the preceding voltage test, the following test can also be performed
The voltage regulatorrectifier could be the cause of blown fuseTo check, simply disconnect the voltage regulatorrectifier from the circuitIf the fuse still burns, check for defective wire
