The following gives general electrical-related problemsFor specific system-related problems, refer to proper system sectionIt is possible that component seems to operate in static condition but in fact, it is defectiveIn this case, the best way to solve this problem is to remove the original part and replace it with one which is in good condition Pay attention to grounding wiresDo not mix groundsIt may affect the MPEM operation
When checking continuity of wire in circuit, wires should be checked for short circuit as followsMake sure to isolate circuit wires by unplugging connectorsLet's suppose that the circuit to be checked has RED and BLACK wireUsing an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the RED and the BLACK wireThe resistance should be infinite (0 L)Otherwise, there is short circuit between both wiresWe must therefore identify and correct the faultTo perform verifications, good quality multimeter such as Fluke 73 should be usedPay particular attention to ensure that pins are not out of their connectors or out of shapeThe troubleshooting procedures cover problems not resulting from one of these causesIf fuse is damaged, replace it by one of the same rating
