Check stator and trigger coil conditionIf damaged, replace by new partFor electrical inspection, refer to CHARGING SYSTEM for the stator and IGNITION SYSTEM for the trigger coil For installation, reverse the removal procedure
Remove: magneto housing cover no1 pawl no5P0008404
Install strap wrench around rotor
Install magneto puller and crankshaft protector (PN JDG 420 876 557) then remove rotor
For installation, reverse the removal procedurePaying attention to the following detailsInsert ring gear in sprag clutch no10Install nut on crankshaft endApply Loctite 243 on threadsTorque to 150 Nm (111 lb-ft)
