The installation is the reverse of the removal procedure Drain cooling systemRemove temperature sender no13, see below for procedurePut sender in water and heat waterUsing multimeter, check the resistance from temperature senderTemperature sender should close when water temperature reaches the following degreeWater Temperature 90 to 95 (194 to 203 F) Remove: engine inlet hose no11 formed tube no21 between fitting inlet no22 and water pump housing no7 water pump housing screws no23 water pump housing no7 with rubber ring no24
Change temperature sender if the resistance does not change when the water temperature is equal or over specification
Check housing for cracks or spots of corrosionChange housing if necessaryCheck if the rubber ring is brittle, hard or damagedIf so, replace by new one
