Every 100 hours or once year, check coolant concentration (freezing point) with proper tester For installation, reverse the removal procedurePay attention to the following detailInstall the rubber cushion no14 between radiator and frameReplace any defective cushionsInstall the metal sleeves no15 into the rubber grommet no16 on the top of the radiatorReplace any defective grommetsFill up radiatorRefer to COOLANT REPLACEMENT, above in this section
Using suitable tester, check if the radiator cap no4 pressurizes the systemIf not, install new 110 kPa (16 PSI) cap (do not exceed the pressure specified on the old cap)
Check radiator fins for clogging or damageRemove insects, mud or other obstructions with compressed air or low pressure waterCheck for any coolant leakage from radiator and hosesWhen the engine is cooled, remove the bleeding screw on the top of thermostat housingRemove thermostat housing screws and pull thermostat cover with hoseThe thermostat is single action type and it is located on the top of engine, to the right of cylinder head
