c Before performing the cylinder leak test, verify the following: clamp(s) tightness radiator and hoses condition Remove: vehicle seat radiator cap valve cover
oily contamination on leak indicator hole (under water pump cover) means damaged oil seal on water pump shaft

Unplug and remove one spark plug onlyCrank engine with the rewind starter until piston is at TDC, compression stroke
Remove the rocker arm shaft (refer to CYLINDER AND HEAD)Connect leak tester to adequate air supplySet needle of measuring gauge to zero
