GENERAL
Note the following when replacing the halogen headlight bulb- Wear clean gloves while replacing the bulbDo not put fingerprints on the headlight bulb, as they may create hot spots on the bulb and cause it to failIf you touch the bulb with your bare hands, clean it with cloth moistened with alcohol to prevent its early failure
alogen headlight bulb becomes very hot while the headlight is on, and rema ins hot for while after it is turned offBe sure to let it cool down before servicing continuity test can be made with the switches installed on the vehicle All plastic connectors have locking tabs that must be released before disconnecting, and must be aligned when reconnecting To isolate an electrical failure, check the continuity of the electrical path through the partA continuity check can usually be made without removing the part from the vehicleSimply disconnect the connectors and connect continuity tester to the terminals or connections The following color codes are used throughout this sectionBu: Blue BI: Black Br: Brown G: Green Gr: Gray LbLight Blue LgLight Green 0: Orange P: Pink
