IGNITION SYSTEM
IGNITION TIMING
Remove the mudguard (page 3-12)Start the engine and warm it up to operating temperatureStop the engine and remove the timing hole cap from the rear crankcase cover
Connect the timing light and tachometerStart the engine, let it idle and check the ignition timing
The ignition timing is correct if he "F" ma rk on the flywheel is vi sible from the timing ho le in the rear crankcase cover at id leIncrease the eng ine speed and make sure the "F" mark begins to move
