IGNITION SYSTEM Turn he ignition switch to OFF (0)Remove the engine front cover (page 3-6)Remove the alternator 5P black connector from the stay and disconnect itConnect the peak vol age tester or adaptor probes to the alternato side connector terminals,
CONNECTION: Blueyellow (+)Greenwhite H
In he same manner as at the PCM connector, measure the peak vo ltage and compare it to the vol age measured at the PCM connector If the peak vol tage measured at the PCM connector is abnorma and he one measured at the alternato co nnector is norma l, the Blue! ye ll ow or Greenw hite wire has an open or short circuit, or loose connection, If both peak voltages are abnorma l, fo ll ow the checks described in the roubleshooting chart (page 22-4) If the CKP sensor is faulty, replace the statorCKP sensor assemb ly (page' -7) ,
