REMOVAL
Remove the knuckle (page 17-5)T prevent damage o
10 the gear case oil
sealhold rhe tnboard JOint horizomal until [he drive shah IS clear of rhe gear case
Hold the inboard joint of the drive shaft and tug irmly to force the stopper ring on the inboard joint end past the groove while prying with screwdrive r
Remove the stopper ring from the inboard joint
DISASSEMBL YIINSPECTION
NOTE: Do not confuse the left and right drive shaft parts
