FRONT PROPELLER SHAFT
DISASSEMBLY IINSPECTION
Remove the outer boot band and the shaft boot from the propeller shaft joint to remove the shaft joint
Remove the fo ll owing:joint springinner boot bandsshaft boots Check the propeller shaft for deformation or damageCheck the spl ines of the propeller shaft and joint for wear or damageIf they are damaged, check the splines of the output shaft and pinion jointCheck the boots for cuts, deterioration or damageCheck the seal lip in each boot for damage
