Remove the torque converter (page' 4-42 ),
Be care ul nor 10 damage rhe maillshaft threads
Unstake the lock nutLoosen the lock nut while holding the driven gear boss with an open end wrench (width across 'f lats: 29mm )Remove the following- lock nutwasher1st shift clutch assembly
