FUEL SYSTEM (PGM-FI)
MIL CIRCUIT INSPECTION
If the engine can be started but the MIL does not come on when the ignition switch is turned to ON tiL check as follows:
1Indicator Power Input Line Inspection Turn the ignition switch to ON (I)Check that the neutral indicator, reverse indicator and 4WD indicator function properlyDo they operate properly?
- GO TO STEP 2- Open circuit in the Blackyellow wire between the junction connector and indicator 10P connector
2MIL Line Open Circuit Inspection
Turn the ignition switch to OFF {OJDisconnect the PCM 33P gray connectorGround the Whiteblue wire (819) terminal of the wire harness side connector with jumper wireTOOL: Test probe2 pack PCM 33P GRAY CONNECTOR (Terminal side of the wire harness)
