FUEL SYSTEM (PGM-FI) 5VS Sensor Inspection Turn the ignition switch to OFF (O)Replace the VS sensor with new one (page 653)
Erase the OTC (page 6-13)Test-drive the vehicle and stop the engineCheck the OTC with the HOS pocket tester
Is DTe 11-7 indicated?
YES NOReplace the PCM with known good one and recheck- Faulty original VS sensor
DTC 12-1 (FUEL INJECTOR)
Before starting the troubleshootingcheck the fuel injector 2P gray connector for loose or poor contacts, and recheck the DTe1Fuel Injector System Inspection Erase the DTe (page 6-13) Turn the ignition switch to OFF (0) and ONand check the fuel injector with the HOS pocket tester
Is DTe 12-7 indicated?
NOIntermittent failure Loose or poor contact on the fuel injector 2P gray connector- GO TO STEP 2
