FUEL SYSTEM (PGMFI) 5MAP Sensor Inspection Replace the sensor unit (MAP sensor) with known good one (page 6-51 )Erase the DTC (page 6-12)Turn the ignition switch to ON (I) Check the MAP sensor with the HDS pocket tester
Is DTC 1-1 indicated?
YES NOReplace the PCM with known good one and recheck- Faulty original sensor unit (MAP sensor)
DTe '2 (MAP SENSOR HIGH VOLTAGE)
Before starting the troubleshooting, check the sensor unit 5P black connector for loose or poor contacts, and recheck the DTG1MAP Sensor System Inspection Turn the ignition switch to ON (I)Check the MAP sensor with the HDS pocket tester
Is about indicated?
YES NOGO TO STEP 2- Intermittent failure loose or poor contact on the sensor unit 5P black connector
2MAP Sensor System Inspection Turn the ignition switch to OFF (0)Disconnect the sensor unit 5P black connectorConnect the wire harness side 5P black connector terminals with jumper wireConnection: Light greenyellowGreenblack Turn the ignition switch to ON (I) Check the MAP sensor with the HDS pocket tester
