IGNITION SYSTEM IGNITION PULSE GENERATOR PEAK VOLTAGE Remove the top cover (page 2-4)Disconnect the ICM 4P (Natural) connectorConnect the peak voltage tester or adaptor probes to the wire harness side connector terminal and ground
CONNECTION: Blueyellow (+)Greenwhite
Turn the ignition switch to ON with the engine stop switch at lin"Crank the engine with the starter motor and measure the ignition pulse generator peak Voltage
PEAK VOLTAGE: 0.7 minimum
If the peak voltage measured at the ICM is abnor- IAI._ mal, measure the peak voltage at the ignition pulse generatorDisconnect the ignition pulse generator 3P (Natural) connector and connect the peak voltage tester or adaptor probes to the ignition pulse generator side connector terminals
