BATTERYCHARGING SYSTEM
BATTERY
REMOVALIINSTALLATION
Remove the rear fender (page 2-5) With the ignition switch OFF, disconnect the negative (-) cable irst, then disconnect the positive (+) cableRemove the bolt and battery holderRemove the battery case and batteryConnect the positive i+J cable first and then the negative (-) cable
Install the battery in the reverse order of removalAfter installing the battery, coat the terminals with clean dielectric greaseInstall the rear fender (page 2-5)
VOLTAGE INSPECTION
Measure the battery voltage using commercially available digital multi meter
VOLTAGE (20C68FI: Fully charged: 13.0 -13.2 Under charged: Below 12.3 V
