REMOVAL
Remove the transmission (page 12-8)Cover the support blocks with shop towels or equivalent to prevent damaging the mating surface_ Take care not to drop the crankshaft and balancer
Remove the crankshaft and balancer from the left crankcase using hydraulic press while holding them Drive the crankshaft bearing out of the left crankcase
Remove the left crankshaft bearing using the bearing puller if it comes out with the crankshaftDiscard the bearingTOOL:
