CRANKCASETRANSMISSIONCRANKSHAFT Pull the fork shaft out of the crankcase and remove the shift forks Remove the shift drum
Position the crank weights so that they do not interfere with the mainshaft gearsRemove the mainshaft and countershaft as an assembly
Do not expand the snap ring more than necessary for removal
Disassemble the mainshaft and countershaftClean all disassembled parts in solvent horoughlyNOTE:
