MAINTENANCE Using 17 mm wrench, hold the tie-rod ends so that the angle of both of tie-rods may turn inward 20 degreesThen, using suitable torque wrench, tighten the tie-rod lock nuts, making sure not to force the tierod ends against the ball joint studsTORQUE: 54 Nm (5.5 kgfm, 40 IbHt) LOCKNUT TIE-ROD END
After tightening the lock nuts, rotate the tie-rods to make sure the ball joints operate properly and have an equal range of movementRaise the wheel off the ground and check the hub bearings and tie-rod ball joints for excessive play or abnormal noiseLeft side:
