CLUTCH SYSTEM
Inspect the clutch cable for kinks or damage, and lubricate the cable if necessary, Measure the clutch lever free play at the lever endFREE PLAY: 1020 mm (38314 in)

CLUTCH LEVER
M inor adjustments are made at the clutch leverThe adjuster may be damaged if it is positioned too far Out, leaving minimal thread engagement
LOCK NUT
Slide the dust cover off the lever bracket, loosen the lock nut and turn the adjusterTighten the lock nut securelyIf the adjuster is threaded out near its lim it and the correct free play cannot be obtained, turn the adjuster all the way in and back out one turn Tighten the lock nut securely, install the dust cover and make major adjustment described below
