MAINTENANCE ADJUSTMENT Loosen the axle bearing holder pinch boltsTurn the axle bearing holder until the correct drive chain slack is obtained, using the hex wrench in the tool kitTighten the pinch boltsTORQUE: 22 Nm (2.2 kgfm, 16 Ibf.ft)
Recheck the drive chain slack and free wheel rotationIf the chain slack is excessive when the axle bearing holder is turned fully rearward (the correct slack cannot be obtained)replace the drive chain with new one (page 3-15)
CLEANING AND INSPECTION
Clean the chain with soft brush using non-flammable or high flash point solvent and wipe it dryBe sure the chain has dried completely before lubricating SOLVENT SOFT BRUSH
