THROTTLE OPERATION
Check for any deterioration or damage to the throttle cableCheck the throttle lever for smooth operation Check that the throttle opens and automatically closes in all steering positionsIf the throttle lever does not return properly, lubricate the throttle cable, overhaul and lubricate the throttle housingIf the throttle lever still does not return properly, replace the throttle cableWith the engine idling, turn the handlebar all the way to the right and left to ensure that the idle speed does not changeIf idle speed increases, check the throttle lever free play and the throttle cable connectionMeasure the throttle lever free play at the tip of the throttle leverTHROTTLE LEVER FREE PLAY:mm (18516 in)
