COMBINATION METERREAR VS SENSOR
POWERGROUND LINE INSPECTION
Remove the left inner fender (page 3-9)Remove the combination meter 14P (Gray) connector from the frame and disconnect itCheck the following at the wire harness side connectorPOWER INPUT LINE Measure the voltage between the Blackblue wire terminal (+) and ground (-)There should be battery voltage with the ignition switch turned ONIf there is no voltage, check for an open circuit in the wire harnessBACK-UP VOLTAGE LINE Measure the voltage between the Redblack wire terminal (+) and ground (-)There should be battery voltage at all timesIf there is no voltage, check for an open circuit in the wire harnessGROUND LINE Check for continuity between the Green wire terminal and groundThere should be continuity at all timesIf there is no voltage, check for an open circuit in the wire harness14P (GRAY) CONNECTOR
