Clean the threads of the pinion gear shaft thoroughlyInstall the pinion joint onto the pinion gear shaft, being careful not to damage the oil seal lipsApply locking agent to the threads of the pinion joint nut and screw it in by hand as far as it goesHold the pinion joint with the special tool and tighten the joint nutTOOL: Pinion holder 07SMB-HM70200
