BRAKE SYSTEM If brake bleeder is not available, use the following procedure: Pump up the system pressure with the rear brake pedal until the pedal resistance is feltConnect plastic hose to the bleed valve and bleed the system as follows: 1Depress the rear brake pedal, open the bleed valve 14 turn and then close itNOTE: Do not release the brake pedal until the bleed valve has been closed2Release the brake pedal slowly and wait several seconds after it reaches the end of its travelRepeat the steps and until air bubbles do not appear in the bleed hoseTighten the bleed valveTORQUE: 5.4 (0.55 kgf m, 4.0 Ibf ft) Fill the reservoir to the "UPPER" level with DOT brake fluid from sealed containerInstall the diaphragm, set plate and reservoir capInstall the right side cover (page 3-5)
