ALTERNATORSTARTER CLUTCH Insert the starter rope into the drive pulley and tie the rope end in square knot (page 11-5)Set the rope end into the cavity as shownWrap the rope around the pulley in counterclockwise direction as viewed from the ratchet side as shownSet the rope into the pulley cutout

Apply grease to the pulley pivotInstall the pulley while hooking the inner end of the spring onto the pulley hookPULLEY
