FUEL SYSTEM (PGM-FI) 5MAP Sensor Inspection Replace the MAPTP sensor with known good one (page 6-43)Clear the DTC (page 6-14)Turn the ignition switch ON and engine stop switch "o"Check the MAP sensor with the HDS pocket testerIs DTC 1-1 indicated? YES NOReplace the PCM with known good one, and recheckFaulty original MAPTP sensor
DTC 1-2 (MAP SENSOR HIGH VOLTAGE)
Before starting the inspection, check for loose or poor contact on the MAPTP sensor 5P (Black) connector and recheck the DTC1MAP Sensor System Inspection Turn the ignition switch ON and engine stop switch "o"Check the MAP sensor with the HDS pocket testerIs about indicated? YES NOGO TO STEP 2- Intermittent failure Loose or poor contact on the MAPTP sensor connector
