BATTERY ICHARGING SYSTEM
BATTERY
REMOVALINSTALLATION
Remove the seat (page 3-4)Remove the two bolts and battery holderWith the ignition switch to OFF, disconnect the negative (-) cable first, then disconnect the positive (+) cableRemove the batte ry Connect the positive (+) cable first, then connect the negative (-) cable
Install the battery in the reverse order of removal with the proper wiring (page 1-18)After installing the battery, coat the terminals with clean greaseInstall the seat (page 3-4)
VOLTAGE INSPECTION
Remove the seat (page 3-4)Measure the batte ry voltage using commercially available digital multimeter
