REAR DRIVING MECHANISM Place floor jack or other adjustable support under the gear case
Set the gear case onto the swingarm by aligning the splines of the pinion and drive shaft, then install the fou bolts (front side) ith the stayInstall the four bolts (left side) and tighten all the bolts in crisscross pattern in several stepsTORQUE: 54 N'm (5.5 kgfm, 40 Ibf.ft) Connect the breather hosesInstall the rear axle (page 16-20)Fill the gear case with the recommended oil (page 4-17)
REAR AXLE INSTALLATION
Apply grease to the lips of new dust sealsInstall the dust seal into the axle housing of the swingarm with the metal side facing out until it is flush with the housing TOOLS: Driver Attachment, 62 68 mm Pilot, 32 mm 07749-0010000 07746-0010500 07MAD-PR90200
