CLUTCHGEARSHIFT LINKAGE Apply locking agent to the retaining bolt threadsBe careful not to damage the gear position switch and CKP sensor on the crankcase cover
Install the retaining bolt with new sealing washer by aligning it with the spindle groove and tighten itTORQUE: 12 N.m (1.2 kgf.m, Ibf.ft)
Turn the spindle and check for smooth operationInstall the following:rear crankcase cover (page 11 -11)change clutch (page 10-22)
REVERSE STOPPER SHAFT
REMOVALINSPECTION
Remove the rear crankcase cover (page 11-4)Be careful not to scratch the crankcase mating surface
Raise the stopper plate slightly with screwdriver to release it from the shift drum, then release the spring lower end off of the crankcase and remove the revere stopper shaft
