Drain the engine oil (page 4-13)Remove the following:rear fender (page 3-5)mufflerexhaust pipe (page 3-10)air cleaner housing (page 6-5)heat protector (page 6-19)two nutscarburetorO-ring
spark plug cap
Disconnect the gear position switch connectorsRemove the alternator 3P connector and CKP sensor 2P connector from the frame and disconnect themRemove the wires from the band and clamp
