LUBRICATION SYSTEM
RELIEF VALVE
REMOVAL
Remove the front crankcase cover (page 10-7)Remove the following from the front crankcase cover:valve capspringrelief valve CAP FRONT CRANKCASE COVER SPRING
INSPECTION
Check the valve and spring for wear or damage and replace them if necessary
INSTALLA TION
Blow through the oil passages in the front crankcase cover with compressed airInstall the relief valve with the long projection side facing in (crankcase cover side)Install the spring and valve cap, and tighten itTORQUE: 19 Nm (1.9 kgfm, 14 Ibf.ft)
