LUBRICATION SYSTEM
OIL PUMP
REMOVAL
Remove the front crankcase cover (page 10-7)Remove the following:snap ringdriven sprocket (from the pump shaft and chain)
two bolts oil pump two dowel pins
Check the cam sprocket and chain for wear or damageIf the pump drive chain will be replaced, remove the camshaft (page 8-22)
