SKID PLATEENGINE GUARD
Check the skid plates and engine guard for cracks, damage or loosenessTighten any loose fastenersReplace the skid plate or engine guard as required

CLUTCH SYSTEM
Inspect the clutch cable for kinks or damage, and lubricate the cable if necessaryMeasure the clutch lever freeplay at the lever end
FREEPLAY: 1020 mm (38314 in)
Minor adjustments are made at the clutch leverSlide the dust cover off the lever bracket, loosen the lock nut and turn the adjusterTighten the lock nut securelyIf the adjuster is threaded out near its limit and the correct freeplay cannot be obtained, turn the adjuster all the way in and back out one turn Tighten the lock nut securely, install the dust cover and make major adjustment
