MAINTENANCE If the level is near the "LOWER" level mark, remove the reservoir cap, set plate and diaphragm and fill the reservoir with DOT brake fluid from sealed container to the casting ledgeInstall the diaphragm, set plate and reservoir cap, and tighten the cap screws TORQUE: 1.5 Nm (0.15 kgfm, 1.1Ibfft)
CASTING LEDGE
BRAKE SHOES WEAR
Replace the brake shoes if the ear indicator plate aligns with the reference mark (.6) on the brake panel when the rear brake pedal is depressedRefer to page 15-18 for brake shoe replacement
BRAKE PADS WEAR
Replace the brake pads if the tip of the wear indicator aligns with the reference mark (lug) on the caliper body when the front brake is appliedRefer to page 15-7 for brake pad replacement
