ELECTRIC STARTER REMOVALINSTALLATION Remove the seat (page 2-3) Disconnect the negative
H cable from the battery
Disconnect the starte relay switch 2P connectorRemove the terminal nuts and spring washers and disconnect the battery positive (+) cable and starter motor cableRemove the starter relay switchInstallation is in the reverse order of removal
FUNCTION INSPECTION
Remove the starter re lay swit ch (page 16-15)Connect the fully charged 12 battery positive (+) terminal to the Yellowred wire term inal and negative term inal to the light greenred wire term inal of the starter relay switch There should be continuity between the cable terminals while the battery is connectedand no continu ity when the battery is isconnected
