Check the cable and brake lever for loose connec tions, excessive play or other damageReplace or repair if necessaryFor cable lubrication: Disconnect the brake cable at the brake lever endThoroughly lubricate the cable and their pivot points with commercially available cable lubricantMeasure the front brake lever free play at the end of the brake lever
