1Spark Plug Inspection
Remove and inspect spark plug
Is the spark plug in good condition?
NOIncorrect spark plug heat range Incorrect spark plug gap Dirty air cleaner
- GO TO STEP 2
2Spark Test
Perform spark testIs there weak or no spark?
- Loose or disconnected ignition system wire Faulty ignition coil
Broken or shorted spark plug wire loose or disconnected ignition system wires
Faulty CKP sensor Faulty engine stop switch
Faulty ignition switch Faulty peM
- GOTO STEP 3
3Fuel Pump Inspection
Check for operation of the fuel pump and inspect the fuel flow
