FINAL DRIVE DISASSEMBLY INSPECTION
BACKLASH INSPECTION
Remov the oil fi lle capInstall th spec ial 100 1into the pinion oi nt, and set he fi nal rive assemblv and tool in vise
Pinion holder 07SMB-HM70200
Install the drive sha ft in to the final rive assembly and hold it
Set horizontal type dial indicator on the rin gear through the filler hole Turn the ri ng gear back and for with the drive shaft to rea backlashSTANDARD: 0.05-0.25 mm (0,0020.010 in) SERVICE LIM IT; 0.4 mm (0.02 in)
Remove the dial indicatorTurn the ri ng qear 120' and measu re backlashRepeat this procedure once mo reCompare he difference of he three easurem ent sSERVICE LIMIT: 0.2 mm (0.01 in)
