BRAKE SYSTEM If brake bleeder is not available, use he following procedu re: Pum th system pressure wi th the rear brake pedal until the pedal resistance is fell Connect plastic hose to the bleed alve and bleed th system as follow s:
1Depr ess the rear brake ped al, op en he bleed
va lve 14 turn and the close itNOTE Do not release he brake pedal until the hleed va lve has been closed
2Release he brake pedal slowly and ail seve ral
seconds after it reaches the end of ils travelRepeat the steps and until air hubbIes 00 no ap pea in the bleed hose Tighten the bleed valveTORQUE: 5.4 -m (0.55 kgfm4.0 IbUt) Fill the reservoir to heUPPER" leve with DOT brake luid fro sealed containerInst all the diaph ragmset plate and reservo ir capInsta ll the rig ht side cover (pag 51
