SUB-TRANSMISSIONGEARSHIFT LINKAGE INSTALLATION Blow through the oil passagl:l in the crankcase cover wi th compressed air Clean the crankcase and cover mating surlaces
Apply engine oil 10 the lips of new oil seals, and
ins tall them into th crankcase COV!H un til they are fu lly sealed
Coat new O-rings with engine oil and install them
OIL SEAL
into the joint co llar qroovesInstall the oil jo int collar into the crankcaseInsta ll the two dowel pins and new gasketMake su re that he washers are insta lled on the out put shaft, reverse id le shaft and gearshift spindle, and that the shif drum posi tion is neutral as shown (sw it ch in roove is in positioned lengt hw ise I
