FUEL LINE INSPECTION
FUEL PRESSURE RELIEVINGQUICK CONNECT FITTING REMOVAL
Before disconnecting fuel fee hose, relieve pre ssure ro he system as fo llow ing pro cedu res Do not bent twist fuel feed hose
tTurn the ignition switch OFFPull up the ru bb er boot and disconnect the fue pump 2P (Black) co nnector
2Sta rt the ngineand let it idle ntil it stalls3Turn he igniti swi tch OFF4Disco nnect he batt ery cable (pag 20-6)5Check he uel Qu ick co nnect fitting fo dirtand clean if necessary Place shop to we ove the qui ck co nnect fitt in g
6Ho ld the connector with one hand and squeeze the retain er tabs it he the hand release th em rom he locki ng pawlsPull the connector off Preven the remai ni ng fuel in the uel feed hose from fl owing out ith shop towe Be caref ul not am age the ho se or other parts 00 not use tools If he co nnecto oes not move, keep he retainer abs pressed down, and alternately pull and pus the connector nt il it releases
