IGNITION SYSTEM
TROUBLESHOOTING
Inspect the following before diagnosing the system- Faulty spark plugLoose spark plug cap or spark plug wire connectionWater gol into the spark plug cap (leaking the ignition coil secondary voltage) No spark at spark plug Ignil ioncoil primary voltage low peak voltage

PROBABLE CAUSE Check in numerical order .c'O 'n o':':;:rect peak voltage adapter connections(System is normal if measured voltage is over the specifications with reverse connections
2The multimeler impedance is IcO low; below 10 MOl DCV3Cranking speed is too slow(Banery is undercharged 4The sampling time of the tester and measured pulse were not synchronized(System is normal if measured voltage is over the standard voltage at least one 5Poorly connected connectors or an open ci rcuit in igni tion system6Faulty exciter coil(Measure peak voltage Faulty ignition coilaFaulty leM (when 1Incorrect peaknormal if measured voltage is over the specifications with re verse connections 2Short circuit in engine stop switch (Blacklwhite) wire3Faulty ignition switch or engine stop switch4loose or poorly connected ICM connector5Open circuit or poor connection in ground (Green! white) wire of the ICM6Faulty peak voltage adaptor7Faulty exciter coil(Measure peak voltage 8Faulty CKP sensor(Measure peak voltage Faulty rCM (when above No1 through are normal)1Faulty spark plug or leaking ignition coil secondary currentNo peak voltage
