TROUBLESHOOTING
Battery is Damaged or Weak 1Battery Inspection
Remove the battery (page 17-6)Check the battery condition using the recommended battery tester
RECOMMENDED BATTERY TESTERMicro 404XL (U.S.Aonly), BM210 or equivalent
Is the baHery;n good condition?
NO Faulty battery
- GO TO STEP 2
2 Battery Current Leakage Inspectio n
Install the battery (page 17-6)Check the battery current leakage (Lea test; page 17-7), STANDARD: rnA maxIs the current leakage below standard value ?
- GO TO STEP 3- GO TO STEP 4
3Battery Current Leakage Inspection with Regulator Rectifier Disconnected
Disconnect the reg ulato rrectifier con nector and recheck the battery current leakageIs the current leakage below standard value ?
