CLUTCHGEARSHIFT LINKAGE Drive the spring pin from the chamfered hole side with 3-mm pin driver until the exposed height is mmMake sure the spring pin does not interfere with the crankcase caver by turning the ifer arm
Hook one end of the spring over the spring pin secu rely and hook the other end against the cover lug as shown
Turn the lifter arm clockwise 1800 to apply load and align the cutout with the hole in the cover, then install the lifter piece into the lifter armRelease the lifter arm and be sure to seat the lifter piece in the cutout properlyInstall the front crankcase cover (page 10-30)
