Disconnect gear position indicator connector (6PjCheck fo continuity of the Whil epink wire between the EeU connecto and the gaar position indicator connector terminals
Is there continuity?
NO _Open circuit in Whitepink wire Loose or poor contact of related
circuit
YESGO TO STEP 5
5Gear Position Indicator Ground Circuit Continuity Inspection
Shih the transmission into neutralCheck for continuity of the Whitepink wire at the
gear position indicator connector and body
ground with the ignition switchON",
Is there continuity?
YES NOReplace the EeU with new one and troubleshoot againFaulty gear position indicator
