Install the pinion puller attachment tool onto the
gear caseScrew the shaft puller onto the threads of the drive pinionTurn the 23 mm special nut counterclockwise with 23 mm wrench while holding the shaft with 17 mm wrench to remove the drive pinion from its housing Pull the drive pinion assembly off with the shaft
